We also collect usage data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited through cookies and analytics tools.

02 — HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Your data is used to provide and improve our services, process bookings and payments, communicate inspection schedules and reports, send service-related notifications, and respond to your enquiries. We may also use aggregated, anonymised data to improve our platform and analyse usage trends.

03 — DATA STORAGE

Your data is stored on secure servers managed by Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

04 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Razorpay— Payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's privacy policy.
• Resend— Email delivery for transactional emails (booking confirmations, reports).
• Google Analytics— Website analytics for understanding usage patterns. Data is anonymised.
• Supabase— Authentication and database services.

05 — TENANT DATA

If you are a property owner using our management services, we may collect and process tenant information including identity documents, rental agreements, and communication records. This data is processed solely for the purpose of property management and is shared only with the property owner and relevant service providers.

06 — DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Inspection reports are retained for a minimum of 3 years. Account data is retained until you request deletion. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

07 — YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may request a copy of all data we hold about you. You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@checkaproperty.in.

08 — DPDP ACT 2023 COMPLIANCE

We are committed to compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). We process personal data only for lawful purposes with your consent. We implement reasonable security safeguards as required under the Act. We will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India of any data breaches as required.
